RUGBY WORLD CUP: Aussies To Good For Americans

23.09.2011
Australia 67, United States 5 in Wellington (World Cup, Pool C)

Briefly
The Australian rugby machine was back on track last night with an easy 67-5 win. The win came at a cost as several players were injured leaving coach Robbie Deans with the prospect of having to call up reserves from across the ditch. Kurtley Beale, Rob Horne, Wycliff Palu, Pat McCabe and Anthony Fainga'a all had to leave the field with injuries. Horne (fractured cheekbone) and Fainga’a (knocked out) would appear to be the most serious with the later stretchered from the field.
