Sweden walked all over Moldova 54-6 in a shock result.

‘…Granted Moldova had a weakened team but that's a truly shocking result and you have to wonder if heads will roll after that.
Well done Sweden, who can't have expected this result in their wildest dreams!
Sweden: 7 tries, 5 conversions, 3 penalties
Moldova: 2 penalties’

‘Difficult weather conditions, snow ...’

Croatia 20, Malta 19
’Strong winds and rain...at least the Kiwi guys should be used to that’

‘After 25 mins: Croatia 7 - 6 Malta ( http://www.facebook.com/MaltaRFU )
After 38 mins: Croatia 10 - 6 Malta
HALFTIME: Croatia 13 - 6 Malta
About 47 mins: Croatia 13 - 11 Malta
About 51 mins: Croatia 20 - 14 Malta or maybe 20 -13!
Latest: Croatia 20 - 19 Malta ( must be the near last few minutes )
Final score: Croatia 20 - 19 Malta from http://www.facebook.com/MaltaRFU
Defensive BP for Malta’

‘haha, i dont think the rain and strong southerly helped our Kiwi boys much.......if anything, the Maltese made more breaks and in all honesty, should have won the game....
Burazin was yellow carded in the second half, Malta dominated but full credit to the Croatian defence.....got us out of jail a fair few times...Maltese fullback James O Brien went off with a knee injury and that proved to be the difference in the end....he slotted home 2 penalty kicks to make it 6-0 early in the 1st half.....second kick was from further out and was a great effort considering the strong southerly blowing and muddy pitch.....Malta scored a try towards the end but the conversion was missed......A shocking miss from right beside the posts......if converted, they would have had grabbed the lead and most probably won......in the final minute, a great crunching tackle by Jai Ayoub on a maltese attacker close to our line forced a knock on and the game was over....
overall, a tough, great game of rugby in difficult conditions.....both sides threw everything at eachother....Jai Ayoub was a standout again...great kicking, put through a grubber for Jurisic to fly in and grab a try....malta scored a similar try also from a grubber close to the line.......Jurisic was great as usual and Tonci Buzov put in a great captains knock.....the big fella even picked up and intercept and ran from halfway to score a try.....
Maltas forwards were strong and they have some really good ball playing forwards.....
In the end, happy Croatia got the points!!!

Israel 26, Andorra 5

I was surprised by the extent of Israel’s win especially playing away. This team is new to ENC 2B and look to be going places.

‘34' min ISR 7-5 AND
50' min ISR 14-5 AND
59' min ISR 21-5 AND
76' min ISR 26-5 AND’

‘So a BP win for Israel who are clear at the top of 2B with two wins from 2 and the only team in 2B with 100% record’.

‘Game sheet delayed due to weather conditions excepted in Andorra, Commissioner want to go out the possible snow trap in Andorra. Hope to put on line the game sheet in a couple of hour.’

Weather conditions a bit grim in Europe?

PARAGUAY v BRAZIL: Test Rugby CONSUR A/B Promotion-Relegation

27.10.2012
Paraguay v Brazil in Sao Paulo (CONSUR A/B Promotion-Relegation)

Venue: Estádio do Nacional, Barra Funda

Referee: Federico Anselmi (Argentina)

Preview
For the first time in a while promotion-relegation will take place for CONSUR A/B for 2013. Brazil and Paraguay will square off for a place in 2013 CONSUR A.

Paraguay appear to have put the player-union wrangling of the past aside as they walked through the CONSUR B competition with ease in September. Their most recent rugby test match was a 29-14 win over Bermuda in Asuncion in a World Cup qualifying match.

Brazil has shown over the last two seasons that they a re a team on the rise. In this years CONSUR A tournament they pushed both Chile and Uruguay before being defeated. Their second team lost heavily to Argentina.

I expect this to be a close game.
