A red card and a yellow card effectively ended Ireland's hopes of winning against New Zealand.
Scotland slogged out a win in Argentina.
Australia won against England in spit of giving away two penalty tries.
South Africa were too good against a tired looking French side.
Fiji caused a surprise by defeating Japan.
Kenya just sneaked past Zimbabwe at home in the inaugural Victoria Cup match.
Iran move to Asia Nations Div.2 for 2011 and become recognised as Asia's high flyer at the moment.
Hosts Indonesia crashed out to Guam and are relegated to Asia Nations Div.4 next year.
Jordan won Asia Nations Div.4 and replace Indonesia in Div.3


  1. Cheers mate, u have posted earlier "I think the Uzbekistanis will just have too much experience and grunt up front, to win by 14 points" but the Jordanians were better than ur expectations ;)

  2. Yes I got that one completely wrong. I'm still surprised at that result. It shows the strength there is in Arabian Gulf area rugby.

    I get a number of predictions wrong actually. Check out my predictions and the results. Ouch!!

  3. I am amazed at Iran's rugby rise. They've defeated Pakistan 4 times now. I think they'll do well in Division 2. I'd love to know where their strength is. How many overseas-based players etc.
