INTERNATIONAL RUGBY: Norwegians Travel to Hungary

Norway v Hungary at Esztergom (ENC 3B)

Venue: Esztergom RFC, Vasas Stadion

Referee: Butsenin (Latvia)

This division is still wide open. Four teams still have a chance to take the honours and win promotion to Division 3A. Hungary and Slovenia command a good hold, each with two loses and with a game in hand. Competition leader Denmark won against Austria last weekend but are a game behind Hungary and Slovenia. Although behind the others Norway still has a mathematical chance for promotion. There has been a few upsets so anything is possible. All matches count.

Hungary won their first encounter against Norway away 26-15 and thus hold a physiological advantage. I would expect them to have a strong team for this home game

Previous Encounters
27.09.2008 Hungary 26-15 in Oslo (WCQ Europe R1; ENC 3B)
27.10.2007 Hungary 5-3 in Szekesfhervan (ENC 3B)
07.10.2006 Hungary 13-8 in Stavanger (ENC 3B)

GWC Rugby Rankings
Europe Table-Hungary 30th, Norway 31st

Prediction: Hungary will be too strong for the Norwegians on their home turf. Hungary by 14 points
