Barbados qualified for the second round of the 2015 Rugby World Cup Americas NACRA zone by easily defeating St Vincent & Grenadines in a home-away series.

Trinidad and Tobago have not played a international rugby test match for over a year. They enter this competition at the round two stage due to their success in the NACRA Championship in 2010. They were the defeated finalist, losing to Guyana.
