Asia Nations Division 4

Now that the Asia Nations Division 1 has been settled it’s time for the lower divisions.

Venue: The Sevens, Dubai

Lebanon v Jordan

These two teams met in May 2010 in a friendly encounter in Dubai. Lebanon won 27-8

Lebanon lost last year to Qatar 14-29 in the Division 4 final. There was no promotion-relegation in Division 4 last year.In March this year Lebanon travelled to Cyprus and lost to the Cyprus Barbarians 3-31. There is every intention to return to Cyprus this year to play the British Services XV.

Jordan has participated more in the Asia Nations tournaments since their first test match in 2010. They won the 2010 final against Uzbekistan 28-3. In 2011 they lost to Qatar 8-26 but then defeated Uzbekistan 17-14 to take 3rd place.
