Japan and Fiji bounced back from defeats in the first round to win in the second, throwing the whole competition wide open. Wednesday’s round 3 matches will decide who takes the Pacific Nations Cup and it could be any one of the four participants

Kenya, as predicted, defeated Uganda at home. They have registered their first win in the Victoria Cup series (Zimbabwe, Uganda, Kenya) and they have a 17 point aggregate lead going into the Elgon Cup second leg in Kampala next Saturday.
