SOUTH AFRICA v IRELAND

10.11.2012

Venue: Aviva Stadium, Dublin

Referee: Wayne Barnes (England)

Preview
Ireland are in serious trouble with key players injured-Brian O'Driscoll, Paul O'Connell, Rob Kearney, Sean O'Brien, Rory Best and Stephen Ferris are all out. Simon Zebo starts at full-back replacing Kearney, Keith Earls replaces O'Driscoll, Chris Henry and Peter O'Mahony come in for Sean O'Brien and Stephen Ferris while Mike McCarthy and Richardt Strauss replace O'Connell and Best. It certainly will be a test of the depth of Irish rugby.

In contrast the South African side looks a settle one with only a few changes from the side that played New Zealand in Soweto last month. ‘The 22-year-old Pat Lambie’s starts at flyhalf in place of the injured Johan Goosen while JP Pietersen returns at right wing and Juandré Kruger takes over at lock. The latter pair replace Bryan Habana and Andries Bekker respectively, who were both ruled out of the tour because of injury.’ http://www.sarugby.net/article.aspx?category=sarugby/springboks&id=1662404

Richardt and Adriaan Strauss are cousins.
