‘On 5 and 6 March the national team trained in Magglingen to prepare for the match against Andorra. Currently ranked second, the national team can quite rightly believe in their chances to being promoted to group 2A.

The majority of players in the Swiss squad are playing for Swiss clubs in the domestic championship, added to this are players from French clubs (level fédéral and espoirs). These young players intend to show their commitment and the efforts they put into the national team, with the aim to not only win but also to show the full range of rugby, making it a spectacle to watch for the fans, and all this put into place by national coach Philip Filiatre’

From Christophe Secat, team manager.
