Ireland 26, Wales 3 in Dublin (6 Nations International Championship)
England 20, Scotland 0 at Murrayfield (Calcutta Cup; 6 Nations Int. Championship)

Ireland were too good for a disappointing Welsh side in Dublin. This Irish performance against last year’s 6 Nations Champion must put Ireland up their with the favourites to win. The Ireland-England game on 22nd February now looms as being one of the deciding encounters in this competition.

And speaking of England, they did just enough to squeeze out Scotland at Murrayfield. By all accounts it was another very disappointing Scottish display. They will be hoping a win against Italy on the 21st February in Rome will save them from the bottom of the table. You can be sure the Italians will have the Scots in their sights for this game.

France plays Italy tonight in Paris

The Next Round

France v Wales in Cardiff
Scotland v Italy in Rome

Ireland v England at Twickenham
