Preview
Israel is the team to beat in this competition and that does not look like happening. Latvia is lying second and can only realistically hope for a playoff with second-to-last in ENC 2A in order to gain promotion. The Latvians travel without their Russian contingent, all of whom are reported to be injured.

Serbia is languishing at the bottom of the points table. They defeated Latvia 39-21 at home this time last year, but lost to Andorra 23-26 and were then thumped by Denmark 0-38 away. Playing at home will be a distinct advantage.

GWC Rugby Rankings
Europe Table: Latvia 25th, Serbia 28th

IRB Ranking Points
Latvia 41.56, Serbia 38.69

Prediction: Latvia has not brought their strongest squad and are playing away. Serbia by 2 points
