Chinese Taipei v Thailand (WCQ Asia; Asia Nations Division 1)
Switzerland v Malta in Valette (WCQ Europe R3; ENC 2A)
Hungary v Austria in Vienna (WCQ Europe R1; ENC 2C)
Slovenia v Bulgaria in Sofia (WCQ Europe R1; ENC 2C)
Chinese Taipei v Thailand (WCQ Asia; Asia Nations Division 1)
These two teams will fight it out to remain in Division 1 for 2013. Their hopes of reaching the 2015 Rugby World Cup finals were dashed on Wednesday as both teams lost their games.
Of the two Thailand looks more likely to remain. They have a win in hand which means the Chinese need to win by a considerable amount to progress.

Switzerland v Malta in Valette (WCQ Europe R3; ENC 2A)
Although the Netherlands is a clear leader at this stage both Malta and Switzerland are within striking distance. Malta has the home advantage. Both teams have won and lost so far.

At this stage Cyprus looks to well above the others in this competition and are hot favourites to progress to the next level in 2014. It’s more about who will be second (to play off for a place in Division 2B) and who will be relegated.
Hungary v Austria in Vienna (WCQ Europe R1; ENC 2C)
Austria has struggled so far but always play well at home. They need to win to lift themselves off the bottom of the table.
Prediction: Austria by 3 points
Slovenia v Bulgaria in Sofia (WCQ Europe R1; ENC 2C)
Bulgaria are usually a tough prospect at home and I’m sure Slovenia will struggle in this match
Prediction: Bulgaria by 10 points
