New Zealand 28, Argentina 13 in Hamilton (Rugby Championship)
South Africa 38, Australia 12 in Brisbane (Rugby Championship)
Poland 30, Sweden 9 in Warsaw (WCQ Europe R4; ENC 1B)
Briefly
New Zealand were too quick and skilful for Argentina in Hamilton. The visitors were at times dominant at the scrum and were competitive in most areas in a very physical game. In the end the All Blacks were just that much faster around the paddock.
South Africa gave a very powerful display against an Australian team plagued by handling errors and turnovers. The Springbox were dominant up front and finished their moves well scoring 4 tries, 3 in the second half.
The clash next weekend in Auckland between South Africa and New Zealand will be a clash between the two leading sides in the Rugby Championship. New Zealand will be without captain Richie McCaw out for a month at least with a knee injury.
Poland, without a number of their regular France-based players, defeated Sweden 30-9 at home, scoring three tries to none.
