Preview
Sweden and Poland kick off the second round of the 2012-14 European World Cup qualifying process and the European Nations Cup Division 1B.Both teams have a lot to do to catch Germany who is the front runner in this competition at the half way stage. Only the Czech Republic is out of contention.
Sweden caused an upset by defeating the much fancied Polish side at home but I’d expect the Poles to be much stronger at home.
Poland has seven France/Scotland based players whilst Sweden has two players playing club rugby in England. On that basis, and the fact that the Polish team in Sweden was not their strongest, I’d be expecting a Polish win.
