GEORGIA v BELGIUM World Cup Qualifying Europe R 5 European Nations Cup 1A

02.02.2013

Venue: The Stade Roi Baudouin, Brussels

Referee: Matteo Liperini (Italy)

Preview
This will be Belgium’s first ever rugby test match at the top level of Continental European rugby. It is also the first time these two teams have met in a 15’s rugby test match.

Belgium’s recent record is impressive. They have won their last ten test matches the best winning sequence in their test rugby history. This winning sequence saw them promoted from ENC 1B for the 2012-14 competition.

This is a strong side from Georgia. It will be a most interesting clash, the No.1 team against the newcomers.

Belgium could surprise the visitors but I’d expect the experience of the Georgian’s to finally overcome a spirited local side.

George Chkhaidze is Georgia’s 23rd captain.
