Briefly
A good result for Tonga. They are probably not at their strongest with this squad so on that basis they are going to be a handful again at the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

The USA have all sorts of problems and themselves probably not at full strength at this tournament. Unless they make some dramatic improvements they could be in for a torrid time come the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

Canada is the leading North American side by far. Russia did well to stay with them and looked to be a vastly different side to that which went down in a heap in Tokyo. Comments on the FIRA-AER forum are suggesting that Russia could defeat the USA at the World Cup.
