Briefly
My coverage of these games will be limited due to a very busy weekend. I’m the chief organiser of the local Stamp, Coin and Militaria Fair being held on the Saturday and our club meets on Friday night. Spare time used for eating and sleeping!
The France v England clash at Twickenham is THE big one. Both are undefeated and the result may well decide the 2011 6 Nations Championship. Italy faces Wales and a major hurdle out of their misery following the thrashing by England last weekend. On Sunday Ireland and Scotland battle for the ‘Celtic Pride’ award which means a right old tussle for the win.
Georgia and Portugal clash in what is THE clash for this competition. Both are undefeated. Georgia has scored two massive wins against Ukraine and Spain, whilst Portugal has, against the odds, narrowly defeated Romania and Russia. Played in Lisbon gives the Portuguese an advantage but Georgia appears to have slipped into a higher gear and looks the likely winner
