Briefly
France were two good for Italy who nevertheless played well.
England won a very dull match at Murrayfield. Scotland were there own worst enemy as they gave away chances aplenty.
Romania defeated Portugal in a difficult game on a frozen pitch. Romania dominated much of the second half, keeping the game tight and not allowing Portugal’s good backline to operate.
