Briefly
There were some huge scores in this weekends games. Most of them were complete surprises!
Belgium walked all over Czech Republic. The Czechs made wholesale changes following their 13-20 defeat by Poland 2 weeks ago. All that did was, by the looks of it, weakened team resolve! Belgium is certainly the go ahead team at this level. They could well be promoted to the top division for 2012-14.
Malta caused a major upset in the only low-scoring game this weekend. Lithuania travelled with only 18 players in what looked a cost-saving move. Did that backfire? The Baltic nation led 10-0 at halftime. Malta stormed back in the second half, scored their 14 points within 13 minutes and held on for a famous win. Has this ended Lithuania’s promotion hopes?
Croatia predictably won easily against Latvia.
Austria scored a big win over Hungary in ENC 2D. This was a big surprise! Greece’s 47-7 win over Bulgaria was an even bigger surprise!!
Next Weekend’s ENC Fixtures are…
