Kenya, Uganda and Namibia have all withdrawn from the Africa Cup, Pool B Tournament, due to be held in Yaounde, 17-24 October. The staging of Pool B has caused the change of the original pool formats and a change of venue. Pool B was originally to be held in Windhoek.
If the tournament is cancelled then it would appear that Cameroun could join Morocco, Zimbabwe and Madagascar in the Africa Cup finals, due in November. The November venue would depend on bidding from the unions that qualified.
